As a certified aging-in-place specialist, Creative Renovations’ team members are experts in the technical, business management and customer service skills that are key to competing in the rapidly expanding aging-in-place home modification industry. Earning such certifications is our way of saying that we value opportunities for continued education and professional development.

The NAHB has also accredited us as Certified Graduate Builder. This certification first requires the recipient to complete a stringent and frequently updated curriculum encompassing current industry topics. The builder must also pledge a commitment to a professional code of ethics.

The Certified Graduate Remodeler emphasizes business and project management skills as the key to a successful remodeling operation. The CGR certification is given to contractors who demonstrate the ability to efficiently run their business through design, scheduling, job costing procedures, accounting principles and basic contract law.

Licensed, Insured and Bonded General Contractors

Municipalities issue contractor licenses to contractors who demonstrate a level of knowledge, competence and financial stability. Insurance protects against risks associated with performing construction and maintenance work. Bonding guarantees legal and financial obligations will be met related to the work. By hiring a licensed, insured and bonded contractor, the property owner has an assurance that the work will be completed correctly and that the contractor will take responsibility for the work and any damages that may occur.
